The pure metal preparations gold and platinum are used for the decoration of porcelain, stoneware, art ceramics and enamel. They are delivered ready to use as liquids. If necessary the deflocculant V39 can be added to the preparations. The objects which should be decorated need to be free off fat and dust. The preparations are thinly applied on to a burnt, white glaze with a squirrel- hair-brush. While burning make sure that the vapours which develop up to ca. 430°C can freely evaporate.
The firing temperatures are:
On porcelain 780 - 820 °C
On stoneware 720 - 780 °C
On earthenware 650 - 720 °C
On art ceramics620 - 680 °C
