Attention!
Dear customers, because of the requirements of the federal government and the state government of Rhineland-Palatinate regarding the Corona crisis,
we will close our sales room in Hilgert from Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 until further notice - also on Saturdays.

If you would like to collect goods from us, we ask you to give us your order the day before by email, fax or phone. We will then make the goods available for collection on the following day or at a later desired date.
Our dispatch is not affected by the situation and continues to run normally.
Our staff will be happy to advise you by phone.
The state of Rhineland-Palatinate has also decided that schools and day care centers will remain closed at least until the end of the Easter holidays.
Parts of our workforce are also affected by this measure. Therefore we will work with a reduced workforce in the near future.

This affects not only us, but also our suppliers and service providers such as parcel shipping and freight forwarders. This can and will delay delivery times.

We ask for your understanding.
Your Carl-Jäger team

Vitreous slips

Vitreous slips (lead-free) mid-fire 1020 - 1150°C

Vitreous slips develop their own shining. Usually they do not need to be coated. In order to achieve even stronger colours a coating with a transparent glaze is possible. Vitreous slips are applied on to biscuitted shards. The range of colours can be optionally increased by colouring the white vitreous slip with oxides and stains.

Illustration: the upper sample of the vitroues slip was burnt at 1050°C; the lower sample at 1150°C
